The "Perfect Evening" Gala Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Don Larsen's Perfect Game

"A Perfect Game ..... A Perfect Evening"

Wish You Were Here Productions and The Don Larsen Foundation held a "Perfect Evening" supporting The Don Larsen Foundation and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Don's legendary World Series Perfect Game. The gala with many Yankees greats and celebrities took place on Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City.

This semi-formal gala celebrated the golden anniversary of a feat no other person has ever achieved...a World Series Perfect Game! The evening was hosted by New York Yankees play by play announcer Michael Kay and it was an unforgettable dinner with a sports memorabilia auction, entertainment and special guests such as Don Larsen, Yogi Berra, Graig Nettles, Goose Gossage, Joe Girardi, Maury Povich, Connie Chung, Jim Leyritz, Sean Landeta, Joe Pepitone, Bob Feller, Andy Hawkins, David Cone, Len Barker, John Franco, Don Cardwell, Rod Gilbert, Willie Wilson, Bob Boone, Ryne Duren, LeRoy Neiman, Roy Firestone, Mike Witt, Tom Browning, Joan Hodges, Anibal Sanchez, Dock Ellis, two-time Tony Award winner James Naughton and more.
